Rose and Brine

My chapbook Rose and Brine

My chapbook Rose and Brine, a robust poetry collection of forty-eight pages is published by Frog Hollow Press. The cover is based on my painting Luna.

On Lake Winnipeg, published in Prairie Fire, and a second place winner in the Banff Centre Bliss Carman Poetry Award is included in this collection.

Other poems in the collection, that include My Mother's Seahorse Brooch were awarded the Random House Award at the University of Toronto.

Elizabeth Bishop House is a response to a rare opportunity to tour Elizabeth's grandparent's home in Great Village, Nova Scotia  in 2014.

Joyce Wieland: The Caribou Women, (an ekphrastic poem) is about her artwork, Barren Ground Caribou an 8 x 30 foot fabric installation that can be seen at the Spadina Subway station in Toronto. I've been revising that poem over the last ten years so it's nice to see it finalized and published.
