Thank you to everyone that made it out to The Artist Project 2013. It was great to see so many collectors, friends and family. The fair was a good one for me. Opening Night attendance doubled the numbers of last year. The fair has grown from 90 artists in its first year to well over 250 artists in what was its sixth year in 2013. Here are some pictures for those that couldn't make it.

ART BASEL WEEK IN MIAMI BEACH DECEMBER 5-9, 2012

I exhibited at Aqua 12 Contemporary Art Fair during Art Basel Week in early December. AWOL Gallery Toronto represented my work with six other Toronto artists.

This was Aqua’s 8th consecutive year. The fair is recognized for presenting noteworthy international art programs with a focus on supporting young dealers and galleries with strong emerging and early mid-career artists.

The rooms in this South Beach Art Deco hotel were converted to exhibition spaces that opened onto an outdoor courtyard.

Aqua Art Miami is in close proximity to the main Art Basel fair and is ranked among the top satellite art events by collectors, artists, curators, critics and the art loving public.

The exhibition was a great experience for the gallery artists with lots of sales. I am particularly delighted that my large 42 x 48 inch painting No Geography Without Stars III  and Danube River III now have new homes in Miami.

Thank you to Pam Rosales and Paul Turner for their colossal effort in getting the show to Miami, the AWOL gang and in particular Erin Vincent for tirelessly working the demanding show hours with Pam and Paul.

Opening Night AWOL Gallery was on the second floor overlooking the pool.
