Must-see Shows, PROPELLER Stolen Moments: Colourshift Collective NOW 22 – 29 March 2012:70

The Artist Project 2012 was a good exhibition for me.

It was wonderful to meet so many art enthusiasts from the literary, academic and fine art fields and to re-connect with gallery owners, collectors, friends and family.

I enjoyed discussing my newest works—framed postcards on birch and heritage wood ironing boards—and my exhibition plans for 2012.

Moments captured in time, ephemeral bursts of light. Many paintings and photographs portray a fleeting glimpse, gone but not forgotten. Shifting moods, changing seasons, ourselves and our surroundings are forever in flux. It is Colourshift’s intent to present “Stolen Moments”, showcasing work that embodies the idea of change, forever fixing images that would otherwise be lost.
